Close Up. Helps to build a relationship with the artist and audience, close up are important in music video because it helps to show the facial expression and this helps the audience build relationship.  When using a close you cannot see anything else but the persons face which means that the main focus is on the face and they will not be looking elsewhere so they have a better understanding of the video.

Mid -Shot. This shot focuses on a half body or mid-size object. It can be used to show body language and build a relationship with the artist and audience. In this shot you are able to see the persons facial expressions which helps to get in touch with an audiences feelings. In my video a mid shot would be useful because you can see a person’s face clearly it helps the audience understand what impression I am trying to give.

Long Shot The whole body will fill a shot and some background. This can be used to show body language to the audience and I’ll be using this in the green seen what this does is give the audience a batter shot of my hold body

High Angle: Looking down .makes the object appear inferior to the audience give it more effect to the audience. This angle can be seen as effective because it can show the story line or a characters personality. For example if you wanted a certain character to be very intimidating, using a high angle shot would be good as when somebody is higher up they look as if they have got more power.

Questionnaire results

Planning the locations and iconography

1) Explanation of why you have chosen this location? In my music video the location will be set in my bed room to start off the reason why I chosen my bed room is because the audience can interact with the artist when just on the artist so they don’t really have anything else to look at but the artist and it kinder set the mood in the room.
2) How does it reflect or convey a message about your artist? This will reflect to the audience and so what the artist is about like if you listing to the lyres off the song you will get that relationship with the artist and you get the message of the song
3) How does the location reflect the lyrics of your song? The location show how its reflect to the audience and the lyrics of my song. The location it’s in my bed room the song is about when I get lonely and I’m just in my room chill think about good time I’ve had and what I’m miss out right. And this can reflect to the lyrics like for example when I’m sing on the bed and say “Waited on you for so long Too many days since January I’m still sitting here alone “and I’m setting on the bed
4) How do the locations build a relationship with your audience?
